Recently, I put together a list of all the book series I’ve started and want to continue with, and there are 19 of them. That seems quite a lot for someone who prefers standalone books, plus there’s the danger of this number randomly increasing when I mood-read some more series openers. Since I’d prefer to have fewer series on the go, I’ve decided that I’m going to try and do something about it in the upcoming year.
I like setting goals for myself, especially around the New Year, and reading goals are some of the most fun ones to think about for me. Last year, I wasn’t really in the mood for setting official reading goals, which makes me that more excited for the ones I’m coming up with for 2022. The whole set of goals isn’t finalized yet (and there will be a video on my Booktube channel once I do finalize them) but as you’ve probably guessed, one of them is going to be related to finishing some series I’ve started (that I actually want to finish because I’ve abandoned quite a lot of series as well).
For now, here’s the list of all of the series I need to make progress with:
What about you, have you started thinking about your goals (reading or otherwise) for 2022? And how did you do with your goals for this year if you set any? Also, let me know if you have any tips and tricks for finishing series! :- )
